Daddy's Gone
So Brian had to go to Denver for 2 weeks for work and so that means I wasn't going to stay home by myself. So me and the boys decided to take a road trip to Battle Ground, WA. We went to stay with my brother and his family. It was a lot of fun and the boys got to do a lot of fun stuff. We went to a place called Kids' Club that is one big play land. They had too much fun and didn't want to leave. We also got to enjoy a couple of my nephew's baseball games while we were there. Needless to say my boys are really into baseball now. (Good thing Brian brought them home baseball bats for a present from Colorado.) Ethan even copies how his cousin pitched the ball. It is pretty cute. It was the first road trip by myself with 3 kids. Six hours on the road went better then I thought it would. We had so much fun and thought that I would share some of the pictures.

Bloomies!
Okay so we did Bloomsday this year. For those of you who don't know it is one of the biggest races on the west coast with over 40,000 participants. So we ventured to Spokane early one morning to walk the 7.46 miles (something is definitely wrong with us). I have never done it before and wanted to experience it. We decided to bring the kids and push them in the strollers. That was the first mistake. You try to entertain 3 kids in a stroller for 2 hours while you walk. Luckily Cody fell asleep before we even started and slept most of the way. Ethan enjoyed most of it especially when we got into the residential areas and he got to get wet in sprinklers. Cooper, now that is another story. He started getting fusy about mile 3. Luckily he fell asleep til mile 6. Then he had enough of the stroller. So needless to say we carried him for the last 1.5 miles. That was an adventure in itself. We completed it in 2 hours 17 minutes. It was fun but I learned my lesson. I will not push a stroller in a race with that many people ever again. Go Bloomies!!!!
