Week 6!

Another week completed.  This project is actually a lot of fun.  There are some days that I forget until late at night but I still get it done and enjoy each day and photo.

This was one of those days that I didn't remember until late.  We had been busy all day and enoying some family time and I totally forgot to get my camera out.  So after all the kids crashed this is what I got.  Another sleeping shot I am sorry.  But I really enjoy watching my kids sleep.  It is one of my favorite things to do in life.  Tonight Cooper was completely exhausted.  We had played hard today and he was too tired to even make it to "bedtime."

Super Bowl Sunday.  We went to church this morning and then went to watch the big game at Brian's parents house.  It was a lot of fun.  I didn't really care about the game but it was fun getting together as a family.  As you can see Maycee enjoyed it too.  My kids have always loved to cuddle with Grandpa.  I tend to think that Grandpa enjoys it too.  I brought her in and she was fussy and tired and she instantly fell asleep with Grandpa.  We really love having all of family close and love the fact that our children spend lots of time with their grandparents and great grandparents.  In fact at times I think my kids would rather live with their grandparents instead of here.  :)  We love all of you guys.

This was a neccessity of today.  It seems that there have been so many germs and sick bugs flying around our house lately.  I have tried to keep the house disinfected and clean but today I was at my wits end.  I think I almost used have of this Costco container on cleaning and wiping everything in our house down.  I felt better about everything once it was all cleaned and wiped down.  The even got the kids in on the fun and gave them wipes to clean with.  They had a lot of fun doing it.  So hopefully this is the start of health in our home.

Yeah Maycee got to sit in a big kid high chair for the first time in a restaurant.  She has been getting so big with sitting up and getting really good at it so I decided I would try it today when we were eating out.  Cody and Cooper needed to go to the doctor today so while in Wenatchee we went and had lunch at Red Robin.  My kids love Red Robin and want to eat there anytime we are in Wenatchee.  I was kind of worried about taking the 3 kids all by myself but in the end it was okay.  As you can see Maycee really enjoyed her time.  She got to sit and play while we ate.  Oh and she also got to test out a french fry.  She liked it and got really mad at me when I took it away. It probably isn't good that I let her try those already but she was getting mad because everyone else was eating and she wasn't.  Why is my baby growing up so fast?

Like I said before everyone has been kind of under the weather here.  Everyone except me and I am hoping that I don't get it.  And while being sick everyone seems to want to sleep a lot more than usual.  Tonight I came home from practice and had to run to the store really fast for some dinner stuff.  When I returned this is what I found.  I don't know what it is but our kids love to sleep on Brian.  I didn't think that Cooper was asleep but he was crashed.  Who sleeps like that?  I would hurt for days if I fell asleep like that.

Tonight Brian and I took the kids to see the Reptileman.  He had been at Grant School earlier in the day doing an assembly and the kids begged us to take them to see his night show for the community.  It was kind of chaotic and went a little later than I expected but the kids enjoyed it.  He had lots of different reptiles with him and the kids really enjoyed it.  Here is his tortise that he had with him.  This "little" guy was HUGE as were a lot of his reptiles.  The kids actually learned a lot from the show.  Below are a few more pictures from the evening.

Have I told you how much I HATE snakes.  YUCK!!!!  I have never liked them and don't think I ever will.  My kids are lucky that I love
them because I normally wouldn't go to this type of show.  It gives me the willies just thinking about it. 

His pet Alligator.  This little guy was pretty cute.  I learned something about alligators.  Did you know that if you touch the back of an alligators eyelids it will make an alligator pass out.  Just in case you ever have a run in with an alligator.  Haha!

Today was a big game for the varsity basketball team.  They are in districts now and they were playing the top team in our league-Prosser.  So the boys and I made them a candy sign for a little motivation.  Cooper and Cody had a lot of fun helping me.  Cooper just had a hard time keeping his hands off the candy.  He is such a candy monster.  He was also very concerned about which girl was going to eat which candy bar.  It was pretty funny.  It took a little bit of creativity but in the end I thought it turned out pretty cute.
